Animal Care at Ragunan Zoo Runs Normally During PSBB

We continue to carry out routine animal care as usual

The Ragunan Zoo (TMR), Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta is again closed to the public in line with the reimposing the large-scale social restrictions (PSBB), Monday (9/14) to Sunday (9/27).

TMR Ragunan Park Promotion Executing Unit Head Ketut Widarsana said, although there are no tourism activities, the treatment of 295 species and 4,040 animal specimens in the zoo is continued as usual.

During the PSBB, the zoo only welcomed 1,000 visitors and they should buy tickets online.

To prevent the coronavirus, children aged nine and under, pregnant women and elderly people over 60 years were not allowed to enter the zoo.
